Your new position:
- Be a self-reliant Quantitative Analyst for pricing, hedging and risk assessment
- Value structured contracts for Power, Gas and Renewables. Derive insights from market information and support trading strategy development
- Own, develop and maintain models. Explain observations and justify design choices to the management
- Create and maintain the necessary infrastructure. Contribute to the development of our portfolio risk evaluation framework
- Work closely with the DevOps team, Risk Management and our meteorologists. Directly support Front Office, collaborate with their Desk Analysts and drive the solutions in these collaborations
- Implement and support valuation tools in our cloud-based Python environment
Your profile:
- Master or PhD degree in a quantitative subject (Mathematics, Physics, …)
- 5 years experience in quantitative roles, preferably in the energy market
- Preferably a track record in project management
- Ability to work autonomously
- Experience in implementing quantitative models in production grade quality
- Fluency in Python
- Pragmatic approach and constructive attitude to problem solving
- Very good command of English language, fluency in German is an advantage

Ihre neue Stelle:
- In Ihrer neuen Rolle übernehmen Sie die selbständige quantitative Analyse für Preisfindung, Absicherung und Risikoevaluation
- Sie bewerten strukturierte Produkte für Strom, Gas und Erneuerbare Energie und gewinnen Erkenntnisse aus Marktinformation und unterstützen bei der Entwicklung von Handelsstrategien
- Sie verantworten, betreuen und entwickeln Modellen und vertreten die Ergebnisse und Entscheidungen gegenüber dem Management
- Darüber hinaus erstellen und warten Sie die nötige Infrastruktur und nehmen an der Entwicklung unseres Risiko-Frameworks für das Gesamtportfolio teil
- Die Zusammenarbeit mit DevOps, dem Risikomanagement und Meteorologen sowie das Unterstützen des Front Office, unmittelbare Zusammenarbeit mit den Desk Analysten und Einbringen von maßgeblichen Ideen und Lösungen in diesen Kollaborationen.
- Sie implementieren und betreuen das Bewertungstools in unserer Cloud-basierten Python-Umgebung
Ihr Profil:
- Master oder PhD in einem quantitativen Fach (Mathematik, Physik, …)
- 5 Jahre Erfahrung in einer quantitativen Rolle, vorzugsweise im Energiebereich
- Vorzugsweise auch Erfahrung im Projektmanagement
- Sie besitzen die Fähigkeit zu selbständiger Arbeit
- Erfahrung in der Implementierung von quantitativen Modellen in Produktionsreife
- Sehr gute Kenntnisse in Python haben Sie im Gepäck
- Pragmatische Herangehensweise und ein konstruktiver Ansatz zur Problemlösung
- Sehr gute Englischkenntnisse nötig, Deutschkenntnisse von Vorteil
